So much has happened since my last letter. Wanted has gone platinum, you turned 21 and sung the National Anthem at the Saints game, you’re touring with Carrie Underwood, you won Choice Male Country Artist at the Teen Choice Awards, you are nominated for Best New Artist at the CMA’s, and the list goes on and on. I am so proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished. You’re one of the most amazing people, and you’ve done more than I will probably do in my life time. You deserve every award because you are a great artist and you truly love what you do.

Do you know how easy it is to turn people into Hayniacs? Seriously, people listen to one song and before you know it they’ve bought your album and are going to your concert. Personally, I think it’s because your songs are so relatable. I think everyone, to an extent, knows what it’s like to love someone, or to lose someone. And I believe that everyone at some time needs some faith to fall back on. I’ve often said that your music is basically my thoughts and views about life, love, and faith put to music, and I stand by that. I can’t quite understand how one person’s music can express so many people’s feelings, but I do know that it’s a truly amazing thing. Thank you for giving me a way to express how I feel.

I want you to know that every time I write one of these letters, I cry a little. It’s because every time I write one of these, I realize how much you have changed my life for the better. I realize why I became a Hayniac in the first place, and it always makes me think back to the day I first heard Storm Warning and thought “wow, he is so talented. I really hope he makes it as a musician”. I can’t help but think that joining this amazing group of people was one of the best decisions I ever made. I just want you to know that you mean so much to me.

I look up to you. I look up to you because you are an amazing person and a great role model. You work hard, you have strong faith, and you do what you do because you love it. It makes you happy. I just hope that one day I can have a job where I get to do what I love every day. I just hope I can be an inspiration to somebody like you are to me.

How does it feel to have such an amazing fan base? The Hayniacs are the best fandom, and I’m so proud to be part of it. I just hope that you will always remember that we will be there to support you and your music no matter what. You are truly amazing. You’ve brought a bunch of random strangers together and made us into great friends. Actually, we’re more like a family. Thank you for giving us the chance to meet each other.

This is the first real letter to you, and I just want to sum up how much of an inspiration you are to me. You have worked for so long to get where you are, and I admire you so much for that. In my opinion, you are the most talented musician ever. You’re not just talented, you’re also dedicated. Music is your passion, it’s your life. The only thing more important to you is God. I love how open you are with your faith and how you believe that God will take you where you are supposed to go. I believe that your career will be great, especially because you’re just starting out. I’m proud to be one of your fans.
